- 1 in 5 apparently healthy dogs is hiding a disease that will affect its
  lifespan; biomarkers shift months to years before visible symptoms.
- The Omi baseline panel measures 80+ markers: 62 blood biomarkers across
  renal, hepatic, metabolic, inflammatory and cardiac categories, plus 18 from
  genetic testing — versus 5–10 markers in a standard veterinary wellness
  panel. Uploading past vet records adds more.
- A membership costs $250 a year and includes one blood biomarker test a year.
  The cellular aging test (a cheek swab that reads biological age through DNA
  methylation) is provided free to founding members only; it is not part of a
  standard membership. The swab is taken by the Omi team at the blood-draw
  appointment, at the same visit — no kit is shipped to the customer.
- Licensed veterinarians oversee the app's guidance: they review samples of
  the plans and chat answers it produces as ongoing quality assurance, and
  their corrections are applied across the system. Individual plans and chat
  replies are generated automatically and are not each reviewed by a
  veterinarian before you see them.
