Marketing Manager, Brand & Experiences

New York City · In person · Full-time · $105K + equity

Apply for this role

Omi Health is building the future of pet health: a new model of preventative care designed to help dogs live longer, healthier lives. Founded by two Harvard graduates, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, and featured in The New York Times, Omi is building the world’s first dog longevity test and protocol, screening 80+ advanced biomarkers to help pet parents understand their dog’s health, establish a baseline, and catch changes earlier. Think Function Health for pets, bringing the innovation of human longevity and premium wellness to pet care.

Omi is named after CEO and co-founder Sindu’s own dog, an eight-year-old mini Goldendoodle who passed away from an aggressive cancer. His story is at the heart of why we exist: too often, we only learn something is wrong once it is already serious. We’re building Omi so pet parents have the chance to know sooner and act earlier.

We are building the front door to pet health, a generational pet health brand for Gen Z and millennial pet parents, a generation that sees pets as family and expects the same level of personalization, wellness, and preventative care for them that they expect for themselves.

The role

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager, Brand & Experiences to join Omi’s founding team and help build that brand from the ground up. This is a chance to join early enough to have real ownership over how Omi is defined: not just execute a playbook, but help create the one we scale with.

This is a highly hands-on strategy and execution role based in New York City. You’ll work directly with the CEO and co-founder and sit at the center of how Omi shows up across social, creators, launches, partnerships, events, and the physical world.

This is an opportunity to help shape how an entire generation thinks about pet health, especially Gen Z and millennial pet parents who see their pets as family and expect the same level of taste, personalization, and experience from pet brands that they expect from the best brands in wellness, beauty, hospitality, and longevity. We want Omi to feel premium, culturally relevant, and deeply desirable, never clinical or sterile.

You might spend one morning shaping the story for a launch, the afternoon briefing our social agency and creators, and the next day onsite making sure an Omi pop-up looks and feels exactly right.

We’re looking for someone with exceptional aesthetic taste, strong strategic instincts, a deep understanding of culture and younger consumers, and the ability to turn ideas into reality. As an early member of the founding team, your work will directly shape the brand, experiences, and marketing engine that Omi grows on for years to come.

What you’ll own

Brand voice

  • Translate Omi’s brand strategy into how we show up across digital and physical touchpoints
  • Turn founder vision and company priorities into clear creative briefs and launch plans
  • Maintain a high bar for storytelling, design, copy, and overall consumer experience
  • Coordinate creative partners and vendors to bring campaigns, launches, and brand moments to life

Socials and partners

  • Serve as Omi’s brand voice across PR, social, and growth agencies, translating company priorities into clear messaging, creative direction, and briefs
  • Co-manage Omi’s social calendar with our social agency, briefing the team on content concepts, storylines, hooks, launches, product, founder POV, science, and cultural moments
  • Capture lightweight in-house content and coordinate larger shoots when needed

Experiences and partnerships

  • Own the execution of Omi’s NYC and LA activations, including pop-ups, Longevity Lounges, launches, and conference presence
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, production partners, staffing, signage, merchandise, and onsite execution
  • Build and activate partnerships with dog communities, hospitality, wellness, residential, retail, and culturally relevant brands
  • Identify moments, communities, and places where Omi should show up

Who you are

  • 3-5 years of consumer marketing experience, ideally at an early-stage or high-growth consumer startup
  • Strong project management skills. You can independently own projects from idea through execution, manage timelines and stakeholders, and keep multiple workstreams moving without needing heavy oversight
  • Experience managing social media and shaping social strategy. You understand content calendars, creative briefs, platform strategy, creators, and what drives relevance and engagement
  • Hands-on experience producing events, pop-ups, launches, and in-person brand activations, including coordinating vendors, logistics, and onsite execution
  • Exceptional aesthetic taste and cultural fluency. You understand what resonates with Gen Z and millennial consumers and what makes a brand feel premium, relevant, and memorable
  • Strong at translating ideas into clear creative direction and briefs for agencies, creators, designers, and vendors
  • Highly resourceful and hands-on, equally comfortable shaping strategy with the founder and jumping in to film content, scout a venue, or make an activation happen
  • Based in New York City, excited to work in person as part of a founding team, and comfortable with occasional evening and weekend activations; strong affinity for pets is a plus

You’ll probably love this role if

You want to build something that matters, not just market something that already exists.

You’re excited by the idea of helping create the pet health brand a generation grows up with.

You walk into a restaurant, hotel, store, or event and immediately notice the details that make it feel special. You follow emerging consumer brands because you genuinely care about why some brands become part of culture.

You love the thinking and the doing.

You’d rather build the playbook than inherit one.

And you want to join a company early enough that, years from now, you can look at the brand people know and say: I helped build that.

What success looks like

Omi becomes the defining pet health brand for a new generation of pet parents, a brand people recognize, trust, talk about, and want to be part of.

Our social feels sharp and culturally relevant. Creators tell our story in compelling ways. Our launches feel like moments. Our physical experiences are beautiful and memorable. And every place Omi shows up feels intentional and unmistakably ours.

As an early member of the founding team, you’ll help build the brand foundation and marketing playbook Omi scales on for years to come.
