Field Coordinator
New York City · In person · Part-time · $20 - $25/hour
Omi’s mission is to extend the lives of pets everywhere by making healthcare more proactive, personalized, and preventative.
We’re starting in New York City this fall with in-person blood testing for dogs. Pet parents bring their dogs in for a quick blood draw, and Omi analyzes a broad set of health biomarkers to help identify risks earlier and create personalized recommendations for each dog to extend their lives (think supplements, food, and lifestyle changes on the cutting edge of longevity).
Our goal is simple: help pet parents understand what’s happening inside their dog’s body sooner, so they can take action earlier and give their pets more healthy years.
The role
We’re looking for a Field Coordinator to help run Omi’s NYC testing operations and customer events.
This is a fully in-person, hands-on role. You’ll be one of the faces of Omi on the ground, welcoming customers and their dogs, keeping testing days organized, coordinating with our veterinary team, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
One day you may be running check-in at a blood testing pop-up; another, you may be packaging kits, organizing supplies, transporting samples, or representing Omi at a community event.
This role is ideal for someone who is socially confident, extremely responsible, organized, and great with people.
- Rate: $20 - $25/hour, based on experience
- Hours: ~15-25 hours/week, including some evenings and weekends
- Timing: Fall 2026
- Work style: Fully in-person
What you’ll do
- Help run Omi’s in-person blood testing pop-ups across NYC
- Welcome customers and their dogs and guide them through the experience
- Manage check-in and keep appointments running smoothly and on time
- Communicate clearly and confidently with pet parents
- Coordinate with veterinarians, venue partners, and the Omi team onsite
- Set up and break down testing stations and events
- Package and ship testing kits and customer orders
- Prepare and organize supplies for upcoming testing days
- Transport blood samples according to Omi protocols
- Track inventory, testing supplies, and event materials
- Handle local pickups, drop-offs, and operational errands across NYC
- Represent Omi at partner locations, community events, and activations
- Help educate prospective customers about Omi and drive interest in the product
- Jump in wherever needed to make sure the customer experience is excellent
Who you are
You’re someone who loves people, loves pets, and is energized by being out in the world rather than sitting behind a desk.
You have:
- Experience in hospitality, retail, restaurants, fitness, wellness, events, or another service-oriented industry
- Experience in sales, customer service, or another customer-facing role
- A genuine passion for dogs and pets
- Strong social instincts and the ability to make people feel comfortable quickly
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- A high level of responsibility and reliability
- Confidence speaking with customers and explaining a product
- The ability to stay calm and organized when things get busy
- A proactive mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Comfort traveling throughout NYC and working fully in person
- Availability for some weekday evenings and weekends
You do not need experience in veterinary medicine or healthcare. We care much more about whether you are dependable, personable, organized, and excited to represent Omi well in the field.
Why join Omi
You’ll be on the ground helping us build a new kind of preventative healthcare experience for dogs from the beginning.
This role also has real room to grow. As Omi expands beyond New York and launches in new cities across the country, strong performers can grow into larger market and operations roles, with the potential to eventually own and manage an entire geography, including local testing operations, partnerships, events, and field teams.
You’ll work directly with customers, veterinarians, and the Omi team, get real responsibility quickly, and help shape the playbook we use as Omi expands nationally.
